The Backstoppers and the St. Louis County Police Roller Hockey team invite you to the second annual "Backstoppers Cup" Roller Hockey Tournament, where members of your local Police, Fire, and Emergency Medical Services will compete against each other for bragging rights and the chance to hoist the coveted “Backstoppers Cup”.

The tournament will feature several area police and firefighter/EMT teams. In 2010 the Clayton/St. Louis County Fire team was able to beat out all other teams and win the inaugural "Backstoppers Cup" tournament. This year several police and fire teams look to knock off last years champions in what will surely be an exciting tournament.

In 2010, with your support, we were able to raise over $5,000 for the Backstoppers. The Backstoppers, is an organization that provides financial and emotional assistance to the families of Police Officers and Firefighters who have given their lives in the line of duty. This year, with your help, we can shatter last years total and bring much needed and deserved relief to the families of the Police Officers and Firefighters that have made the ultimate sacrifice for you.

 

The Backstoppers Cup is affiliated with "The Battle of the Badges of Metropolitan St. Louis" which is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, founded in 2005.
