The Battle of the Badges 2008 was a great success. The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (St. Louis City) defeated St Louis County Police #1 in the competitive bracket and Howard County Firefighters from Maryland beat the North County Coppers in the recreational division chmpionship game. Kirkwood Police lost on a last second touchdown by the St. Louis Area Fire Fighters in the memorial game.
Most importantly, over $17,000 was raised for The Backstoppers.
